“The first Cone Chair with red fabric upholstery was designed for the Komi-gen restaurant and produced as a small series.
The chair consists of a cone-shaped metal frame which rotates at its base on a cross-shaped metal foot. The back of the cone and the cushion which is fitted into its opening are upholstered in cloth.
With this chair Panton turned convention on its head by inverting the cone, creating an effect which was both futuristic and novel.” verner-panton.com

Panton was one of the most influential Danish designers of the 20th Century! He is one of our favorite designers mostly because his designs are highly colorful, playful, thought provoking and futuristic!

Vintage 1960s or 1970s set of four dining chairs. Solid teak construction with recent reupholstery (new foam, new vinyl) by the previous owner. Features a tapered frame design with thick black vinyl cushions. All chairs have new plastic feet glides. Classic and iconic MCM appeal. In the style of Arne Vodder and Arne Hovmand-Olsen. No identifying manufacturer marks.

Vintage 1970s / 1980s teak expandable extension draw leaf dining table. Small and apartment sized. The draw leaves are accessible by lifting up the middle section slightly and then sliding out the leaves. Prominent wood grain throughout with a natural amber teak tone and lacquered finish. By original design, the legs are darker than the top surface. No identifying manufacturer marks. Likely made in Denmark and sold at Scan Design outfits in the past.

GORGEOUS vintage mid century Danish modern teak credenza in excellent, time capsule condition! It’s a big one! Measuring 83” long (20”d x 27”h)
Made by Bernhard Pedersen & Son in Denmark. The teak wood has a beautiful deep amber hue and the grain patterns are very attractive. At the center there are 4 spacious drawers, each with a sculpted solid teak drawer pull. Slide open the tambour doors to reveal more drawer storage on the left and an open space on the right with two adjustable/removable shelves within. All doors and drawers glide effortlessly as they should. The body of the piece is supported by a plinth base- notice the attention to detail in choosing vertical wood grain for this base. It’s a small detail but I think it makes quite a difference in appearance!

This piece has been very well cared for over the years and is in near excellent condition given the age of the piece!

Some of the signature features of this design are the geometric cut ins and fin like trim edges. Each end table has one drawer. These are finished on all sides.

Pair of LARGE 1960s textured ceramic table lamps. Made of a hollow textured ceramic base with a solid wood stem. Each lamp includes the original tapered nubby fabric drum barrel shade with a plastic inner lining, brass finial and harp, gold colored socket casing, three-way on/on/on/off switch (with included three-way LED light bulb), protective bottom cover, and off-white electrical cord. UL tag in place on the socket, however there are no obvious identifying manufacturer marks.
Each lamp measures 41"h (top of shade) x 21-1/2"h (bottom of the harp) x 5-3/8" diameter bottom base. The white textured ceramic base is 15"h x 6-1/2"w. The fabric drum shade is 12-1/2" top diameter x 14" bottom diameter x 20"h.
Condition is VERY GOOD. Unrestored vintage condition showing normal wear from age and use. Structurally and electrically sound. All parts are attached securely. No chips or cracks to the ceramic. Cosmetically, the textured base has limited wear including a few light scuffs and some minor and stubborn embedded dirt residue. There are no chips, cracks, or otherwise detracting blemishes to the base. The shades have a few small punctures to the inner plastic lining, one area of indentations along the bottom edge, and two areas of yellow staining to the exterior of the shades. These lamps show well and are in well preserved original condition. Clean.

This one is an unusual find! Vintage Mid Century Modern ARC lamp.

It is brass/gold which is an uncommon find as they’re almost always chrome!

Also, the metal dome shade is quite large, 14” in diameter, and the marble base is a nice substantial tall round slab. Very mod.

It is authentic vintage circa 1970s. The cord is in great shape and the floor switch works great.

In fact Modernica has one that they rent out in their prop house! (That’s where the more spiffy photo in this post comes from ;)

Duo Canadian designer Clipper CS-1 Douglas Ball and Jeff Sokalski have developed a unique cocoon-like workstation that provides more privacy than common open cubicles.
Dubbed Clipper CS-1, the workstation resembles an airplane cockpit shape and constructed using and plastic on a Lexan powder-coated steel frame with a fiberglass seat sporting leather fabric.
As many as 100 such shedlike capsule offices were designed for a Herman Miller study to improve office spaces and this one here is by far the best.

This isn’t your typical Pearsall 889-S Platform sofa! This was a custom order with Boomerang front legs and Roman Travertine Marble table inserts! The signature Pearsall sculpted walnut trim tapers to a “V” in the middle and wraps continuously around each side. The vintage upholstery is in very good condition.

It’s 127” of atomic awesome!

Set consists of one 3 seater sofa w/a built in slate end table (right), one 2 seater sofa w/built in slate end table (left). There is also an additional cushion included, which in these pictures is placed on the end platform table of the 2 seater sofa (left), creating additional seating area. The cushion could even be placed on the center platform table transforming it into an ottoman or additional seating as well!
The upholstery is original and in very good condition. All cushion zippers have been recently replaced.

This is one of our favorite MCM pieces! A unique 7 drawer tall dresser with a whole lotta storage!
There is a hidden top drawer within the upper trim area that had divided spaces and velvet lining perfect for jewelry and small items. In addition there are 3 drawers with solid brass hardware blow that and 3 large drawers hidden within the signature louvered facade!
Beautiful genuine walnut wood throughout with a brass trim around the base. The high quality construction will last for years to come, making this a great investment for a collector or as an heirloom piece. Originally purchased in 1956, these Dania pieces have been owned by only one family! See the last pics for the original Dania ephemera and purchase receipt!

The hallmark piece of the line, this modular bench + case set features the model 4002-43 long bench and model 4001-2 drawer unit. There are 3 drawers hidden within the signature louvered fronts of the case (see pic)! The case rests on the long bench which also has 3 virtually hidden drawers providing even more storage! Also included is the original black seat pad! The appeal of the modular modern design is its versatility! This could be a dressing area for the bedroom, an entryway/foyer piece or additional storage/seating in the living room, etc!

Vintage Mid Century Modern Modeline table top lamp and matching floor lamp. These are some of the most attractive modern lamps we’ve ever had and they give off the most wonderfully warm ambient light! The solid teak arms hold the original ribbed lampshade in place. There is a brass pole that runs up through the center for the bulb with a brass pull chain switch. Both are in excellent working condition. We use them daily.
